Security Test 

We have recently put a Senergy Plus window through the tough BS 7950 security test. The window passed with flying colours and even brought the test rig to the limit of its capacity without failing.

Basically the test pushes and pulls at each locking point trying to simulate what would be burglar breaking in. Whilst we will never be able to entirely match the methods used or simulate the forces obtained by burgulars, it is the test on which the industry standard is based. The test states that the pull force to be applied is 1000 Newtons (N), with the push force of 3000N. To put it into perspective 3000N is equivalent to the weight of 300 one kilo bags of sugar! 

It is impressive to see the forces that the window can withstand. It is even more impressive when we say that this was a standard window out of production with no modifications, enhancements, or special treatment.

Whilst we can never claim that our window is burglar proof, we have proved that Senergy Plus is very secure and we believe that it will deter the vast majority of would be burgulars.
