In these days of wall to wall and floor to ceiling glazing, Senator bi-fold doors offer a diverse set of configurations to suite every need. Combining ease of use, energy efficiency, security and style, these folding doors provide a perfect balance of contemporary design with maximum light. Frames are slim and unobtrusive and even when closed, flood the room with natural light. When open, they bring the ‘garden into the room’.

Bi-fold or Multiple Leaves

Senator bifold doors can be made from 2 up to 6 leaves wide and to stack left or right or both sides. They can open in or out. In 3 or 5 leaf configurations it is possible to have the end leaf on one side open as a ‘traffic’ or back door.

State-of-the-art Door Security

Senator bifold doors use a state of the art sliding mechanism which needs no maintenance and allows the doors to glide open and shut. Locking is with shootbolts and a claw mortice on the leading door jamb. There are optional low thresholds to create less of a trip hazard. These thresholds allow the bifold door to be used as a room divider.

Range Of Door Materials And Finishes

Senator bifold doors are made from thermally broken aluminium and come in a range of standard and optional RAL colours. Dual colour options are also available.

Folding Doors that are Thermally Insulated & Low Maintenance

Senator folding doors have a polyamide thermal break giving excellent thermal performance and structural stability. Our bifold doors system has passed severe BS6375 for air and water permeability and is also assessed for wind loading in various sizes. All of this means a bifold door that is both draught proof and weatherproof.
