How Sliding Aluminium Patio Doors Help Eliminate Condensation

The aluminium has a non-conductive thermal break built-in which prevents heat and cold transference. So no cold surface inside means no condensation inside. This polyamide thermal break also adds to the rigidity of the door. Senator sliding doors are fitted with toughened low ’E’ and low iron glasses with Argon gas fitted as standard. Versatility – your patio deserves it!

A noteworthy benefit of sliding doors is that they do not open in or out and are totally unobtrusive. If you do want to ventilate the area you can leave the door open a few centimetres. They come in a variety of styles including 2 ,3 and 4 leaf configurations. 2 leaf can open on either the left or right. 3 leaf can open either left, right or in the centre and in 4 leaf the two centre leaves slide right or left. Senator uPVC sliding doors can be fitted with a low threshold and, where possible, flush with the floor to eliminate any trip hazard.

uPVC Patio Door Glazing Options

Our uPVC patio doors come double or triple glazed and all with our Low ‘E’ and Low iron glasses. The standard filling is Argon gas and Krypyon gas is available as an option. Anti-sun or reflective glass can also be fitted to reduce fading on furniture and floors on south facing elevations. Doors are ‘A’ energy rated and as such eliminate cold spots meaning you can sit in comfort behind the doors in even the coldest weather

Aluminium Sliding Patio Doors

Senator’s Aluminium sliding patio doors come in a wide variety of styles and configurations and Senator will gladly discuss these options with you. The doors can be up to 5 meters wide depending on height. Some of the configurations available include:

– A simple 2 leaf.

– A 3 leaf that can be used with a low level triple track to enable two leaves to stack behind the third.

– Another option is for two 3 leaves to be connected together so that the centre four leaves stack two to the left and two to the right! Versatile indeed!

Our sliding patio doors can be in either straight slide or ‘lift and slide’ format.
